Youth homelessness - A National social crisis on our doorsteps

  • 1 in 200 people in England are today homeless or living in inadequate housing
  • Rough sleeping has risen by 169% since 2010
  • This year, 320,000 people were recorded as homeless in Britain. A rise of 13,000, or 4%, on last year's figures
  • This is equivalent to 36 new people becoming homeless every day.

In true partnership with The Street Soccer Foundation, we oversee the delivery of a nationally acclaimed transformative academy programme for homeless and vulnerable 16 to 24 year olds. These course participants receive a combination of professional football coaching and classroom training which helps them re-align their mindset. This is proven to successfully transition the young people into education, employment or further training. Changing Lives through Football.

The name ‘Goal 17’ is inspired by the United Nations’ Goals for Sustainable Development. The 17th goal is about creating partnerships and collaborations for effective positive change.
